Another Year Older
Since we are a year into my 30 by 30 list, I thought I would write a little post to fill you in on how that has been going 🙂 I have knit a baby blanket, and will be starting a new one tomorrow, as soon as I have bought some more yarn. I Made A Blanket!
So, if you have read my post on 30 things I want to do before I’m 30, you know that one of the things on the list is knitting a baby’s blanket. Ideally, I would like to knit a blanket every time someone I really care about is having a baby. I would then give them the blanket once the baby is born. Another Fear Off the List!
I had a busy couple of days this weekend. First, I spent Friday night in Cornwall for a movie screening with my parents. Then I spent Saturday on set. It was for the MIP that I worked on Thursday night as well. The day started with an unfortunate mishap, since the school they had rented was locked when we got there at 8. It took a little over two hours and about a million phone calls for us to get started. First Time Donor :)
Finally! After having this on my list of things to do the moment I turned 18, I can finally cross it off. It was also on my list of 30 things to do before I am 30, so two birds with one stone 🙂 It was something I have always wanted to do, but it also really terrified me. You see, my dad used to give blood all the time with no problem pretty much every time he was allowed, whereas my mom can’t fill up a bag and has passed out. You may be rolling your eyes and thinking it’s a little too early to be thinking about the next five years when I haven’t even finished my 25 by 25, but with only 7/8 items left and concrete plans to finish most of them within the next month, I took to planning my next challenges.
